As an NHS patient you will pay NHS dental charges, if you are exempt from payment you will be asked to provide proof of exemption on each check up visit. 

The charge you pay depends on the treatment you receive. 

The new  NHS dental charges are as follows:-.

Band 1        £16.50        covers examination, diagnosis, advice and scale & polish.

Band 2        £45.60        covers everything in Band 1, plus any fillings, root canal or extractions.

Band 3        £198.00      covers everything in Band 1 & 2, plus crowns, dentures or bridges.
